On Saturday, October 22, all roads led to Johannesburg, South Africa for the MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA) awards 2016. The award ceremony was highly anticipated as Nigerian music stars beats other African stars as they bagged most awards for the night.

Among the big winners for the night was popular Nigerian music star, Yemi Alade who travelled down with her mother to witness the show. The ‘Johnny’ crooner did not only bag one of the biggest awards for the night for the ‘Best Female’ category but her outfits for the night was to die for.

Yemi Alade’s first outfit for the night was ‘black and silver’ see through flowing dress with a gold-big earing and a layered South African/Kenyan outfit to complement her look. The music star that is well known for her unique hairstyle rocked a braided hair that was wrapped all the way up on her look. She sure looked good.

Trying to perform the host duties for the night, Yemi Alade stepped out in an ‘ankara inspired jumpsuit’ and silver pointed heels. She also had her hair styled in gold which is different from her first appearance on the red carpet.

After winning big for the night, Yemi Alade did not forget to keep slaying for the night as she was later spotted in a ‘gold and black short with a red waist line jacket’. She wore a transparent ankle boot to compliment her outfit and she flaunts her sexy legs.
